About me
Hi. I’m Simon. Sorry for having my back to you but I usually prefer being be behind the camera than in front of it.
I first started taking photographs when I was travelling through Europe in the 90s. I borrowed my brother’s Minolta X-700 film camera and eagerly set out to capture the world. Sadly, it would have helped if I knew how to use the camera. The photos were horrible (if I managed to get a photo), and to add insult to injury, the camera was also stolen.
Undeterred, my love of travel and my persistence over the intervening years has allowed me to continually develop and grow as a photographer. While I started as a traditional landscape / travel photographer, I now find myself shooting more and more candid street photography.
Thanks for stopping by.
